Tenant wants fiancee to move out

Chetan C.
Posted

Tenant and his fiancee are not getting along. The fiancee is not on the lease and I don't know if she pays any portion of the rent. The tenant is asking for my help in moving her out. Should I get involved? To me this is a family matter and I should stay out.

Don't get involved in their personal drama.  Chances are they'll get back together anyway, but either way you shouldn't involve yourself in it.  The last sentence of your post summed it up perfectly.
