Security Deposit Agency

Dear BP community,

There are some agencies which help the section 8 tenants to pay their security deposits ( at lease here in Philadelphia, PA).

Who supports those agencies? How can I find out more about those agencies? How can I contact them?

There are quite a few non-profits in Philadelphia that assist low-income (or other specific classes) population with first moth rent + downpayment. And some of them would pay up to a year rent. And they are not section 8. One of those is Gaudenzia. I have a few tenants who's getting assistance from them.
