Knocking out deferred maintenance on occupied units (8)

I just closed on two quadplexes last month which has a decent amount of deferred maintenance. I'm working with a contractor to take care of some issues within the units, and was wondering what would be the best way to coordinate these repairs with the tenants.

The plan is to send over scope of work to my contractor. He will give me date and approximate time he can repair each item on the list. Then, I will contact tenants the date and approx. time he will be able to repair their unit.

My question is, if I give 2 days' notice for these repairs, will my contractor be able to enter the unit without the tenants being home? Or will I need to coordinate the time with each tenant?

I want to be able to knock out as many repairs at once as I can, and trying to schedule repairs around my contractor's time, and 8 tenants sounds like it would be a bit tricky.

Thanks in advance

@Timothy VanWingerden What does the current lease say regarding inspections, work, and notice for access?
