What makes a great property management marketer?

I'm a digital marketer: Impressive resume/ but I feel like an idiot when I'm talking to real estate professionals.

There is a lot of industry knowledge to try and wrap my head around.

Right now I am developing inbound marketing campaigns for a property management company. Marketing SFH to tenants seems to take care of itself via online listings, and yard signs. Its connecting with investors and landing new management deals that I am primarily focused on.

What does EXCELLENT property management marketing look like?

What do I need to know/learn so that I can give my client the best possible marketing service?

I would say you have to get the "Know/ Like / Trust" of the target client.

You have to find what their problem is so that you can become the trusted solution. If they don't have a problem they will not see you as a valuable asset to hire because you do not solve their problem.

The best way we found to do this is by created video content blogs answering the questions that people really want to know.. like " How do I know my rental home is not a meth lab", "How to make sure my tenant is not trashing my rental home"... those are what investors want to know.. Not how great you are or how you have a catchy name....

Also work on getting them google reviews.. we have over 380 reviews and the closest has about 55.. big difference for that zero moment when they are scrolling on google

Just my opinion being an investor and property manager myself
