Cozy.Co Problem .. Potential Major Flaw in their system

Was just notified by Cozy that rent payment from last month will be REVERSED because tenant (who moved out end of last month) contacted his bank after breaking lease and moving out stating "payment unauthorized".   I've contacted Cozy customer support explained situation and requested freeze and investigation before turning money back over to tenant.  This is a serious issue and i am hoping Cozy handles this appropriately otherwise any tenant who wants their last months rent payment returned after they move out simply has to claim "payment unauthorized".  I will broadcast loud and far how Cozy handles this situation.

COZY.Co what are you going to do?

@Stephen Thorne - before you blast Cozy.co please realize they and the banks have to follow Reg E. The payment will most likely be reversed based on the claim of it being 'unauthorized'. Get your documentation together and go see the DA, Sheriff - whoever prosecutes CRIMINAL FRAUD charges. Resolution occurs much faster then 'I'll sue you'. Good luck Carol
