Buying Where There are Many Rentals Vacant
Hi Everyone, In his latest webinar earliest this week, Brandon spoke about going to Craigslist and offering to buy from those who are renting their place. His example featured an area with over 200 rentals. Can someone help me understand why you would want to buy in an area that has an abundance of available rentals? Isn't this a red flag? Am I missing something? I ask only because I know Brandon is an expert so it must be an angle I don't see.

I think the most obvious reason is that, in general, most landlords are pretty terrible at landlording. They either aren't professional, for it part time, or simply don't have the skillet to be good at it. If you are a good landlord and have professional processes in place, you can succeed where others fail.
