Problems with finding tenant, vandalism, and theft
Hi all,
My family has a house in Tulsa, Ok that we've been renting out for the past 5 years but now have come across problems. I don't personally own the house but thought I'd ask for opinions and advice on the matter.
Problem #1
The house has no tenants. There have been no tenants for almost a year. I know that there is a management company working for us...but no tenants.
Problem #2
Since the house has been vacant, we have received letters from the management company about vandalism including windows shattered, and busted garage doors. Also, a fridge and TV have been stolen out of the house.
Facts:
Rented out to section 8 tenants
3 bed 1 bath SFR
Location: Tulsa, OK
Any help would be appreciated. If you need any more information, Ill try to respond as quickly as I can.

Ouch, sounds horrible.
First off, how about firing that lousy PM co?
Why are you accepting section 8? Lousy neighborhood? That would explain the break ins...
I think it is time to take matters into your own hands, find good tenants, and get the place down to par, otherwise, get out of the game.
Good luck!
