Cooking at Airbnb room rental

Hi guys,

I'm curious what your policies are for cooking in Airbnb room rental?  I'm Airbnb-ing 2 rooms upstairs and both guests are staying long term of 1-2 months.  Both guests asked me on separate occasions if they could cook.  Obviously they have to eat but I need some suggestions for compromising. I'm scared of the strong spices might lingering in the house.  Please let me know your thoughts.  Thanks in advance!

Jenna. The whole point of AirBnb is to feel like you're in someones home and to give a home vibe.

You should let them cook in your space. And maybe when you have your cleaner clean the property you can have them try to rid the smell out of the space.
