Can anyone help pointing me to the right direction. My tennant just lost her section 8 voucher, but Housing Authority will pay one more month til end of May. The one year lease contract with her and housing authority expire at the end of this month of April. Total rent amount is $1800.

What is the options can i do to protect my investment and property? Do I have the option not to renew the month to month contract and ask her to move out by the end of May? if not, what is the pre-eviction steps should I prepare? Thanks alots for anyone's advices.
