Can anyone help pointing me to the right direction. My tennant just lost her section 8 voucher, but Housing Authority will pay one more month til end of May. The one year lease contract with her and housing authority expire at the end of this month of April. Total rent amount is $1800.

What is the options can i do to protect my investment and property? Do I have the option not to renew the month to month contract and ask her to move out by the end of May? if not, what is the pre-eviction steps should I prepare? Thanks alots for anyone's advices.

Thanks to Joshua and Michael for your advices.

If I have to deal with the owner of that old junk(eye soring) car head on, I have no problem with it, but I prefer a more peaceful resolution to this issue. Like joshua said, first thing I will call the city service department. The car is on the public streetright infront of my house, not on my drive way.

I am new to this forum. I am close to own this investment house in california. The neighberhood is Ok in mid to low income area. but there is a old junk car keep parking indefinitly infront of my property. Should i be respossible for dealling with the car owner or the tenant should be the one to deal with the car owner?

Also, How to convince the owner of the old junk car to move it away without him retarliate against my property. The property is still unoccupy with the for sale sign in front yard.

Any help and advices are very appreciated.
