I was taking to a landlord yesterday and since my closing day will be Sept 28th and I have to do bare minimal TLC at the house. She advised me to go ahead a post the property for rent but to provide a date when the property will be move in ready. That way the property won't be sit vacant for to long. What are u guys thoughts?

@Eve Oliver I believe there are legal questions here as to marketing real estate you do not own, so what I have always done is put language in the contract that says I can market it for lease and put signage up before closing. Then I am just careful to tell prospective tenants that I will be closing on the property on whatever date so they know I'm not the owner yet.
