Section 8 Exception in description or not?

Greetings everyone,

I've been following Bigger Pockets and enjoy the forums and different discussions here and have learned a lot. We are fairly new in REI with a couple rental properties and are still learning everyday. I have a question that I was hoping to find in previous discussions, but was not able to do so.

We have a rental property we are ready to put on the market and I was wondering, are we required to accept Section 8 tenants? Can we state in our description, no section 8 or not?
