Tennessee Occupancy Limit

Hello everyone,

I have a 2 bed, 1.5 bath townhome in Davidson county that I am trying to rent out. I have a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (7 yrs and 1 yr) that are interested in the property, but I feel like the property (sq.ft) may be a bit small for them. Is there any law that limits the number of occupants based on the sq.ft or number of bedrooms? Where can I find it? Thanks for all your help.

Manoj
