Hello everyone. Currently I do not have text because I felt there was no need. As of latley I keep receiving many text with no messages do to me not having a plan. I have several internet adds offering my services and a property I am whole selling. My question for my bigger pockets family is, do people do business often threw text messaging?

Some of these replies shock me. I use it all day every day. It is a quick efficient means of communicating and you have a record of the conversation. It is truly a means of communicating with thenyounger crowd when working to find tenants as well. Many deals with agents are much easier when done with text, you can communicate information in your own time, quickly, and at anytime something pops in your head. It costs next to nothing with most phone plans too. Spam may happen, but just delete and be done with it.

Many tenants are more inclined to reply with text when there is a payment problem. They feel embarrassed or don't want confrontation when you are after them, text allows for communication without that sense of intimidation. Psycologically I think people are just more willing to relay information in a spot where they are in the wrong if they don't have to talk to you.
