Value Add for a rental?
This may turn into a local discussion, but.... let's say you had a personal property that you wired "smart switches" into. They had Echo integration, and worked well. if you were to turn that personal home into a rental later on, would you keep the switches in place for a value add... or go back to a standard light switch?
I understand an addendum to the lease would probably be a good idea that covers the situation of the tenant leaving the devices unconfigured (and open for anyone to control) and potential security / cost risk that may involve.
