Whats the first thing you do after you close on a new rental?

Happy to say we closed on our first property today.....now what? It is a duplex and is currently rented out. What do you do in regards to introducing yourself to new tenants. Any advice would be appreciated. I will say that the listing agent let us know that the tenants have already asked about when, where and how to send rent so thats good.

Do we make a visit in person or send an official letter?

Thanks in advance.

I send a letter out telling them who I am as well where to send the rent.
I provide my contact information and ask them to reach out to me with any questions that they may have.

If I plan on making any changes, I let them know what those changes may be.

If I plan no changes, I also tell them that I plan no changes at this time and that everything will remain the same.

I feel this type of letter puts everyone at ease.
