High water bill due to leak
A tenant had a water bill 5X the usual due to a leaky toilet. She alerted me of the problem after the $260 water bill came. How would you handle this? Do you think it is the landlord's responsibility to pay some or all of the extra usage? Thanks for your feedback.

How were you supposed to prevent what she didn't tell you about?
Are they asking you for money? If not, don't offer.
