Can you refuse to rent to families/people with kids
Odd question but I was wondering if u can refuse to rent to a person with a kid or make your properties adult only? Mainly I ask because I recently showed my place and the kid was a complete brat and concern he will damage my property on purpose?

Hi Ryan Rypel . Refusal to rent to people with kids would be discriminatory (unless your property was in a 55+ community). You can deny them if they fail to meet your rental criteria (which should not include "no kids" unless you want to get sued) or if you find a more qualified candidate.
