All,

I have 45 tenants...  half manage half I have a property management company

I have a friend with 65 tenants ... he manages them alone, but now invested in additional 300 units out of state so he is constantly travellling with little time for 65 tenants in Georgia

We decided to hire a person full time to manage mine and his Georgia tenants... 110 tenants

It will free me up to do more investing and him up to manage rehabbing and leasing 300 units out of state

Person will work from home (we all do) will take calls , will show places, coordinate maintenance and other our contractor  and reconcile bank accounts

We identified our candidate and will probably make her an offer in the next few days after we check references and credit/criminal

Does anyone have experience hiring an assistant that works remotely?

If so, please share any advice/experience you have ... especially please share any mistakes you might have made in the past...

Thank you!

Paolo
