Landlords/ Property management looking for intern type work?

Hey all, 

I'm an aspiring investor from the Des Moines, IA area looking to gain experience any way that I can in the REI game. I've reached out to some local realtors who specialize in investment properties seeing if they would be interested in acquiring someone for an intern type position, and thought I would extend the question out to the landlords and property managers around the Des Moines area. If there is anyone looking for a young and motivated student that they can show the ropes, please let me know! Also any advice or replies are greatly appreciated.
