Have to Break Tenant's Lease

Hello Investors and Landlords

I have a situation and was hoping that someone could provide me with a few pointers. My investment home (SFH) which is currently rented out has increased my DTI significantly. Because of this, I cannot finance another property - I'm assuming - unless I sell this property, and here's the problem. The tenants have just renewed their lease.

I created the lease and I did not add any conditions for me to break the lease at any time.

My goal is to sell my investment home, so I can move into a two unit, apartment, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

DJ

You can sell an investment property that is tenant occupied.  You just need to find an investor who is willing to buy your investment.  I'd find a good realtor in your area who works with investors they may have someone ready to buy.
