Hola BP!!

A landlord has a little cottage in the back of his property in Seattle that my niece would like to rent as she attends UW this fall.  He is adding smoke alarms but we are concerned the electricity may not be up to code (he thinks it is).  What is the easiest way to verify this??

Thank you
