New tenants not satisfied with cleanliness of old house

our new tenants started moving into a 50 year old house and want us to clean the place again. They're hands down the best applicants we had and I want them to be happy. they've paid f,l and a deposit. It's certainly not spotless, but theyre moving in already and its also just an old house!

Wondering if this is a reasonable request anyone's dealt with?

Not sure what the age of the house has to do with it being clean or not, but they have every right to expect it to be clean upon their move-in. A 50-year old house isn't that old and certainly no excuse for it not to be clean. If nothing else, take it as a good sign that your new tenants value cleanliness and get it cleaned for them.

I pay professional cleaners to clean my rentals from top to bottom every time a new tenant moves in. I want my tenants to know that I care about my properties and take care of them so they will too.
