Murrieta, CA or Temecula, CA Rental Listing Sites

Hello,

I have a condo that is about to be available for rent right in Downtown Murrieta, CA. It has been a while since I have lived in Southern California.

Any suggestions on good listing site to advertise the rental? I used to use Craigslist, but wondering if there are more effective sites to advertise the property and even collect apps and screen candidates.

Appreciate any input.

Pete

I would definitely post it on Trulia/ Zillow.   So many people are wary of craigslist now, due to a lot of fraudulent postings on the site.  I believe owners can post directly on that site.

Rents have gone up in this area, so make sure to assess what the rental value is. You may be able to get more than you think.    We use appfolio to track applications, run credit and background checks, etc. (more tailored to property management companies since they have a monthly minimum.)   Cozy or buildium are companies that do it also.

Some property managers do just the leasing for you if you want to manage the property yourself. (I do)    Best of luck to you!!
