Neighbors won't cut trees and its extending over my yard
I recently acquired a duplex in a neighborhood that is almost all rentals. The owners of the property behind my duplex live in New Jersey (I found this out by researching tax records) and the property is being rented out to a family and managed by a property management company. According to my tenants, the trees from that property have never been cut by the owners. All the neighbors have had to cut their trees for them as it extends to the house behind it (mine) and the houses on the left and the right.
What do I do in this situation? Am I going to be responsible for cutting their trees indefinitely? How do I find out who the property management company is and contact them? Their neighbors are cutting the problem neighbors trees right now because it was touching their roof. Can I force them to cut the trees? I'm concerned with it damaging my property as I recently had the roof replaced.
