Owning rental property in a different city
I am currently an engineer, and my job may require me to move within the next year or two. I have started reading the book on rental property investing, and want to get started. If i were to do this and have to move in a year, this makes me nervous. Has anyone dealt with having rental property in a city you don't live in? How much harder is it even if you have a property manager? Would you recommend against this?
I'm excited about taking my first step in real estate investing, and I would appreciate any ones input!
Thanks!
