Niagara Toilet

I went to Home Depot to pick up some Glacier Bay toilets because they are highly rated by Consumer Reports. We have 70 units that we are trying to whip into shape. A good number of the units still have the old toilets from the 70's. The HD guy pointed me in the direction of the Niagara 0.8GPF for $149 each. I bought two and asked my handyman to read up on them. He's asking me to return them and go with a standard style with 3" flapper.   Handyman still uses dial up internet so is not exactly into new technology. Both Amazon and Home Depot have great reviews of this product.  Honestly, after reading the reviews I'm thinking that the worst part is that with their low water use they will probably leave "evidence" of a bath room visit on the sides of the bowl. Some of these people aren't familiar with a bowl cleaning brush. We pay water and sewer in drought stricken SoCal.

Does anyone have any experience with this product in multifamily units.

Sometimes you just have to listen to the help.  And sometimes the old stuff is way better.

Example: He washing machines (as in "high efficiency).  Wow!  Green friendly!  Low water use!

Problem?  They don't clean your clothes worth sh**.

You need water to clean clothes.

You need water to clean toilets.

If the issue is the water bill, then meter the tenants and let them pay the water bill.  Is my opinion.
