Craigslist alternatives?

Hello BP community!

I am currently marketing my first rental property to prospective tenants. So far I've placed an ad in Craigslist's "for rent" section. I just posted this ad today and already I've gotten a few inquiries, however, thus far none the inquiries were strong prospects.  I'm thinking Craigslist just doesn't attract the best quality prospects.

What are some other inexpensive marketing avenues that have yielded success for others?

I'd be very interested in hearing your thoughts!

-Bob

You could also see if your town/county has a "Real Estate for Rent" FB page.  Might be under some other name.  My town has one and anyone part of the FB group can post up houses for sales or places for rent.  Not sure how the potential tenants are but you could reach a lot of people.
