2/1 Duplex units w/ SCG or convert garages for 3/1 units
Hey guys,
I'm starting to look into buying my first house (eep- scary) and I think a duplex is a smart choice. I live in a crazy market so my options are limited.
A lot of what I'm finding in my budget are like the one photod below (new on market today at $322k) that are 2/1s with a single car garage.
Do you guys see more benefit to converting that to a 3rd bedroom- or leaving as a garage? I'd live in 1/2 half rent the other. Then move and rent both after a year or two.
Thanks!
