Landlording: Bill Rossman's Four Simples Rules

Lucky me, I am an official renter in one of my dad's self managed apartment units. While I have been his daughter for 32 years, this is the first time I have officially read his 6 page information and rule package. It's full of great information for the tenant and helps protect him as the manager. Here are his Four Simple Rules:

1. Pay your rent on time.

2. Don't damage the property.

3. Get along with the neighbors.

4. Do nothing illegal at the property.
