Hello! i've been a lurker for awhile and the community here have been great. I have 2 rental properties with 3 units in each building. I'm looking to find affordable landlord insurance options for both properties in Chicago. Does anyone have good recommendations? Thanks!

@Todd Plambeck A commercial insurance policy can have a named insured as a personal name, Trust, LLC, Corporation, Partnership, etc.

If the insurance agent only has a personal lines products to offer you, then they will say the LLC can be done. this is because their policy is not meant to fit around the commercial use of a property.
