Question: Notice at End of Lease, Colorado
I came across a lease today that has this as part of the agreement:
"Unless agreed to by Landlord in writing, Resident understands this lease shall expire on the Expiration Date specified on page 1 of this Lease Agreement without any additional notice from Landlord."
I had always assumed that for a lease under 1 year it was a 1 month notice. Now that I look at the CRS 13-40-107 a little closer, it seems that there is NO notice requirement from Landlord to Tenant in the case where the lease has a defined end date.
Any landlords or attorneys ever deal with this particular piece. I've always provided a month notice as has the management that I know locally.
