Hello,

I was hoping to get your opinions on what kind of insurance coverage I should be looking for when dealing with rental properties. 

Also, if anyone has any insurance companies they would reccomend.

insure it for the cost of buying an equivalent buIkdIng ( not rebuIod cost) and get liability in case somebody slips (I use 300,000$ ) if you start getting all that other crap like missed rent , vacancies , flood insurance , this that and the other your premiums are going to be astronomical. There’s so many stipulations and fine print that they don’t even pay out on half the problems you encounter anyways .insurance is a huge ripoff but necessary
