Dilemma with my property manager in Orlando, Fl
I am an international investor. My property manager of 2-bd condo in Orlando Fl, asked for repair cost of over $3000. I sent for them. Did not receive any invoices or the status of the repair. They asked again for more money to do other repairs, but this time I refused until the status of the first amount is clear.
The unit is vacant for the last 5 months.
I am afraid that no repairs were done and the money is being misused.
What should I do if the PM is not responding and I don't know what is going on with the condo?
What I should do to make sure that the condo is repaired and rented?
I cannot make it to Florida soon and don't know any body to help.
I will appreciate any help to direct me to the next best action to guarantee my rights.

Is this contact even a licensed property manager in good standing in Florida??
I am amazed sometimes investors do not check on this and some random person is managing their property.
If they are licensed are they a REALTOR also? In addition are they a broker or agent?
3,000 is a lot for repairs. You can almost redo a whole unit for 8k to 10k top to bottom.
Connecting with and paying a local BP member might be more beneficial getting things done.
The cost of flying there with hotel room and board is non-optimal for expenses.
No legal advice given.
