Arizona property management question

Ok, so my parents just bought their first rental property and they just want me to take care of the management of the 3 units. They are held under an LLC that I am not a part of. Would it be illegal for me to manage the property for them? I would be compensated for managing the property and tenants. If so what do I need to do to make it legal?

Thanks

@James BynumCheck the property management requirements in that state. If you need a license in your state (for example, you need a broker's license in CA), then you would be operating illegally.

Another point -- There's a difference between admin work and managing a property. If you are making decisions on behalf of an owner, then you need a license. However, if you are just doing admin work (calling vendors, never holding the rent in your own account, posting on Craigslist), then you don't need a license, based on what I've seen at other PM companies. You could run all decisions by your parents and clearly document that they are in control and making the decisions.
