Smoke dectectors
I have a question if I can get any advice it would be greatly appreciated. I live in a newly built house that of course i rent. There are no smoke detectors...keep in mind this house was rebuilt due to a fire. I dont believe it was ever inspected by my city. The landlord has been telling me for over a yr that he was to install. Ive had numerous electrical problems. Yet in 8 months nothing has been repaired. I live in sc so water damage has occured. I've done my part as to notifing my landlord, and he has told me he will be fixing these problems. I've yet to have one thing fixed here and its been over a year?? What is the best course of action???

You can contact the local building department and explain to them the situation.
