Tenant Wants Security System
I have a good tenant who asked me if he could have a security system installed. How should I handle this? I'm assuming I'll need to get the alarm code and the monitoring company must be aware I'm the owner.

I would send them an addendum to the lease agreement that spells out what you need. Also make sure they understand that they will either need to leave the alarm system (depending on how it is installed, it could be considered a fixture) when they move out or they will need to complete any repairs required if the system is removed.
