A little ground hog fun to brighten your Monday!

We have a small little 1 bedroom house.. Bought it freshly remodeled for like 18k. 4 rooms(Kitchen/laundry, family room, bathroom, bedroom). Nice lot, 1 car garage... Rents for $500 a month. It's in our lease that tenants are responsible for pests/rodents.. Get a call from hysterical tenant. She says something has burrowed under the house and she wants us to take care of it immediately... I tell her we will get out in the next day or so to take care of it. House is on a concrete slab, so no big worries as far as I am concerned.. OMG you thought I was leaving her to the wolves... She DEMANDS we come out and put poison in the entrances, and fill the hole back in... I explain that it's probably a ground hog and it will not eat any poisons we keep on hand, and that it will just dig itself back out... It really should be her responsibility, but she pays on time, so to appease her we send a guy out to set a couple of live traps.

Fast forward through the weekend:

Every day she called or texted multiple times to let us know status.. She can't set a trap or bait it herself, but holds no bars in telling us that we did everything improperly. She is telling me she will not live there until issue is resolved... We set traps, and have caught two opossums(they don't burrow generally), which is freaking her out even more...

I tried to tell her I grew up in the woods.... and she cut me off right there.. "I didn't live in the woods, I don't know nothing about that..." I was like "I am trying to impart my wisdom from years and years of growing in the woods....." She could care less....

She refuses to use common sense in the issue. She wants us to fill in the holes. We did that, and it dug itself out(DUH!) and she said we never filled the hole... Are you kidding me?

At this point if she wants to move out, I could care less... I will file an eviction and be done with her..

Just COMICAL at this point... Never even occurred to me that some people should ONLY live in a high rise or an apartment for the rest of their life, UNTIL NOW!
