Pet rent and pet fees in Denver Metro

Just spoke with someone renting a higher end unit that overlooks the down town Denver area. It's a nice new complex. Everyone driving up and down I25 sees it too.

Pet fees are $500 per pet and

Pet rent is $200 per pet per month. No that is not a typo.

BTW there are people paying it too.

I would say their pet policy has some holes in it because they posted a notice to correct for having a pet the tenant didn't have on the lease. The tenant just told them that the pet was "just visiting". So they didn't charge them the pet fees. I bet there's a bit of disconnect between management and operations here.

My lease stipulates "no visiting pets".

Can anyone top that for pet fees apart from a no-pet policy?
