A friend of mine just bought a 3 flat here in Chicago and he was wondering when it's to late to evict his tenants that aren't paying rent. Anyone know the answer? Cause there's the thing about not being able to in winter isn't there?

@Michael Garcia - Start the process as soon as they are late.  It may take awhile so no point wasting more time.  Chicago will evict in winter but not when it is below 15 degrees.  So say your eviction is scheduled for Monday and it is 14 degrees but Wednesday it gets to 20 degrees then they will do it Wednesday

See below:

In addition, the general order also provides that the Sheriff shall cease execution of eviction orders (1) whenever the outside temperature is 15 degrees Fahrenheit or colder on the actual day of the eviction or (2) whenever regardless of outside temperature, extreme weather conditions endanger the health and welfare of those to be evicted.
