New Landlord Decisions (changing states)

Hello All!

I am working towards becoming a landlord (I have the financial assets, just need the right strategy.) I will be moving out of state soon.

I currently live in Phoenix, AZ but will be transitioning to Seattle, WA soon. I have family in AZ. Is it a good strategy to purchase in Phoenix and manage the estate long distance?

Property is far more expensive in Seattle, Phoenix seems to have a lot of opportunities, however I am not an experienced landlord.

Any and all advice is APPRECIATED. I am new.
