Bath tub repaint or epoxy

I have a tenant moving out at the end of the month and the tub needs some TLC. Nothing too crazy but wondering what will last longer since it’s a rental, reglaze or epoxy?

Any kind of paint will start to peel and fall off rather quick. Don't waste your time. 

I'd reglaze it professionally or do nothing. It looks fine for a rental. We reglazed a shower to costs on a BRRRR. It was $800 for the whole thing. The bottom started deteriorating after 2 years but the rest has held up great.

I'm not a fan of reglazing. The last tenant had a suction cup mat down and whatever cleaner they used just sat underneath and ate the finish up. I sanded and used a stick down liner for now but I'll just tear the whole thing out at next turnover. If you do reglaze, make sure they know not to use any strong tub cleaners and to rinse well!

I’ve received quotes to paint for about $200 but the epoxy seems like a good option as well. It’s about $500 but wondering how well it’ll hold up

We have done professional epoxy with good success, two caveats, can't leave mat down when not showering and don't use harsh cleaners like Ajax, Babbo, & Comet.  Use Soft Scrub only
