Real Estate Investors, What's Your Go-To Accounting Software?

With tax season upon us I wanted to hear your opinion on the best accounting software out there.

Like many of you, I've been juggling various aspects of property management, from tracking expenses and managing leases to preparing for tax season. It's crucial to have a system that not only keeps the numbers straight but also makes financial reporting and analysis as painless as possible.

I've been using Baselane for over a year but would love to hear others opinions on similar softwares. Before I dive in, I'm curious:

  1. - Have any of you used Baselane, and if so, what's been your experience?
  2. - Are there other accounting software platforms you've found particularly beneficial for real estate investing?

I'm all ears for your experiences or recommendations. Let's help each other find the tools that make our investment journeys a bit smoother!

Thanks in advance!

I use Quicken for my personal finances and to see balances in business bank accounts.

All my rental and expense stuff I keep in Excel. I organize it by category per property. My CPA says I am one of his most organized clients he has.

Excel is very powerful and customizable to do what you need.
