Securing a Property

Cindy Pena
Posted

We've inherited a property in ABQ., and we live out of state. We are going back and forth to the property, but it has been broken into and looted five times in the last three weeks. We had ring cameras and deadbolts installed, but they looters/criminals have removed the cameras now, and kicked in the doors.  The police said they wont come back out to the property until we secure the premises, (which we thought we did). We plan on going out in the next couple of weeks, but want to secure the property in the meantime.  Would you recommend getting the house boarded up in the meantime, and can we do this from afar, or is there anything else you can recommend doing from afar?  Does anyone know if boarding a home does a lot of damage?
