Anyone have great experience with a Real Estate Investment Firm who handle short term Notes?

The link for a free trial doesn't work.

What is the Police definition of 'securing'...? Until you know what that is exactly. you are spinning your wheels.....ask them for a definition - in writing - and then do whatever they request, then they will have to come out to a call. And what about your neighbors, can they help out at all?

Is this a bad neighborhood generally? Sounds like it might be...may be time for bars on the windows and metal security doors?

This is a tough one, good luck!

Trial by fire for sure!  Neighbors are helping as much as they can.  It's actually a very nice neighborhood, but we've discovered that criminals take any opportunity possible to take advantage of people, even if it means stealing from the dead. The neighbors would love nothing more than for the property to be 'secured', but given the time for this process to be completed, it's difficult to deal with from afar.

But did you find out what they (police) mean by secured? That is the important step for you to take so you can force the cops to come and do their job....

Not yet, but I will definitely look in to it. Also looking into a full on security system for the outside.  Previously cameras were limited because it was a nice neighborhood, but this time will be different.

We've inherited a property in ABQ., and we live out of state. We are going back and forth to the property, but it has been broken into and looted five times in the last three weeks. We had ring cameras and deadbolts installed, but they looters/criminals have removed the cameras now, and kicked in the doors.  The police said they wont come back out to the property until we secure the premises, (which we thought we did). We plan on going out in the next couple of weeks, but want to secure the property in the meantime.  Would you recommend getting the house boarded up in the meantime, and can we do this from afar, or is there anything else you can recommend doing from afar?  Does anyone know if boarding a home does a lot of damage?
