How do I get a rough estimate on what a house will rent for with Section 8
There has to be a way to get a close number right? I found this website that tells you the maximum they will pay.

I'm trying to figure out how they make adjustments and get somewhat of an idea before I make a purchase. Thoughts?

@Christopher McGuire You need to talk to your local HA to get the real numbers. In my area, sequestration means that you take the MSA numbers and cut about 30% off of the Fair Market Rent... and that's what you can expect for Contract Rent. FMR for Wake county MSA (and Raleigh/Cary MSA) is $878 2BR for 2013 but local HA cap is $608 for Contract Rent. Keep in mind that HA payment + tenant payment <= Contract Rent. Ugly.
