We have a washer/dryer, but tenant wants to put in their own

If my new tenant wants to put in their own washer and dryer in our 3br2ba home, should I let them?  The hookups are in a laundry room in the house, and our washer and dryer is currently there. My concern is that putting our washer and dryer in the garage could subject it to damage. Thanks in advance for your wisdom!

Another vote for not providing washer or dryers. The only type of rentals that I provide washer and dryers are

1. Second floor units - moving in and out can be a major pain and to @Nathan Gesner point it can cause damage as they bang their way up the steps.

2. The few units that I have that require a stacked washer dryer set up. Mostly apartments or small multifamily, like our fourplex.
