Renting to section 8 and SSI.
We’ve had an applicant to one of our rental units who is on section 8 and claims SSI. She did well on the screening with a decent credit score of 685, not many current trade lines and no late payments.
Can someone that has dealt with these types of tenants shed some light on whether renting to a person in this situation is a good idea or something to avoid.
