Exterior Security Cameras on Rental

I apologize if this has been covered a million times, this is my first post and I'm getting ready to rent my first single family house. The house we have has exterior Ring cameras at the front doorbell, side gate, and backyard over the pool.

Do we remove the cameras? Hand over access to the tenants? Something else?

Any advice is welcome.

Replied

For STRs, it's fine. For LTRS, been recommended to never do this. If the (local) laws, those are some areas that do not get grandfathered in and the second you still have it up for say an OOS investment--you're now liable.
