We have a renter asking for a wheelchair ramp.  Are we responsible for getting or building one?

By law you aren’t required as the landlord to install, remove or make adaptations to your rental, but you must allow these accommodations to be made by the tenant at their expense. In addition, you can require that they be performed by a licensed and insured contractor, plus returned to their original state if they interfere with the next tenant or make it obsolete for someone else to use. Please get in writing to avoid any messy problems for the tenant trying a DIY method of changes
